Founder

Jeff Duby, P.E. (CV)

Jeff started his career working in the fire protection laboratory at his university in 2003 testing materials, performing bomb calorimeter tests, and building burn rooms in support of a grant sponsored by NASA. He specialized in product liability in 2003 and thermal fluid design in 2004; designing and fabricating an artificial heart in support of arteriosclerosis research. He worked as a graduate student intern with Hughes Associates providing support on defense projects such as the HSV 22, DD-21, and the renovation of wedge 5 of the Pentagon. He graduated with his masters degree in 2006 and worked his way across the country as an associate consultant with RJA Group, performing work on the MGM Grand, City Center/Aria, and Palazzo projects in Las Vegas, NV and then as a Senior Consultant for AON Global Risk Management in Los Angeles. During this time Mr. Duby performed the third party testing and inspection for multiple large value projects including LA Live! and Microsoft Theater. Jeff then worked for the United States Department of Energy, developing policy, continuity plance, emergency response plans, and working in highly sensitive and classified work environments. He is currently the Fire Safety manager for the Library of Congress where he is the technical liaison to congress and the Architect of the Capitol. Over the years Mr. Duby has worked internationally in Mexico, Dubai, Qatar, Azerbaijan, and the UAE in both private and government endeavors. He enjoys rugby, world travel, and craft beer.
